She pin pointed all our problems, worked out a plan of action, talked in language that made me understand how our jumpy, impatient, barking nervous dog was thinking and hey presto we have a calmer dog, happier owners and all is good. HORACE
We started our sessions with Dawn on 14/1/19.Horace is our 3rd springer spaniel but we knew he needed some 121 training as he was highly active and full of life, also we noticed very early on that he chased shadows. Dawn gave us fantastic advice on how to deal with this, by distracting him with food treats and toys, moving on as he got older to better lead walking, retrieving and recall to the whistle, all of these we worked on between our sessions.Dawn not only helped Horace but also taught us how to be better at being patient with him as at times it was very frustrating. Our sessions finished on 10/10/19 with a fantastic walk around Roundhay Park practicing all the things we’d learnt with Horace. Horace is more confident and hopefully a happy 16 month old dog.Our older much loved springer Rufus as adapted to the change in his life too and even comes back to the whistle too, who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.Thank you Dawn for your patience, time and expertise, we couldn’t have done it without you.
